Hello all and a warm welcome to the RSM CEMS Club website!
Whether
you are a current or prospective CEMS student, a member of CEMS Alumni,
a corporate partner or simply interested in what the CEMS Club
Rotterdam is all about, I herewith encourage you to have a closer look
at this website.
Being
students from the MSc International Management – CEMS program, either
the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), Erasmus University, is our
home university or we are currently spending one semester on exchange in
Rotterdam. Drawn from various backgrounds, nationalities and cultures
the CEMS Club Rotterdam aims at providing all CEMS students studying
here with an unforgettable semester full of charitable, cultural and
social activities, which we believe are important complementary aspects
of the CEMS program. Furthermore, the Club intends to be leverage on the
capabilities of these students to make a difference in the world.
As a
President of the RSM CEMS Club for the Spring of 2011 I'm pleased to
introduce the vision of this semester. It relies on three pillars: Consolidation, Cooperation and Community.
Regarding
consolidation, it is the goal of the CEMS Club 2011 to make sure the
club becomes a more solid block and has a long-term perspective. In
order to achieve this goal, multiple efforts to create procedures, best
practices and methods are put into place. When it comes to cooperation,
the CEMS Club 2011 believes that there are multiple opportunities to
cooperate with other organizations on campus in social activities,
humanitarian activities and knowledge sharing. In order to achieve this
goal, agreements with other student associations are being considered.
The last pillar, Community, refers not only to the improvement of the
student life of CEMS students but also to the development of the
Community outside of the program. For this, the work of the Humanitarian
committee is crucial in order to plan, lead and implement change.
