External Relations Committee
The
CEMS community consists of three primary stakeholders; the corporate
partners, international universities, and its international student
body. External relations centers on connecting these three primary
stakeholders. Benefits of these relationships are mutual for all parties involved, as was recently acknowledged by the financial times which reinforced CEMS-MIM as one of top masters in the world and number one for international experience. External relations help contribute to this success by organizing events
to provide opportunities for students, companies, and academics to
build relationships with one another.
Together
with the career services of RSM, the committee organizes a variety of
opportunities to learn from each other. Sometimes this happens in a
formal setting such as the skill seminars in which corporate
representatives teach our students practical skills necessary in their
future careers. Other times, we combine pleasure and business during a
rotation dinner, company drink or when we join forces to go an extra
mile for one of the humanitarian initiatives.
What can we do for you?
Students
When
you entered the CEMS-MIM programme you entered a community. As a
community we take care of each other’s future. We help you to get to
know your potential future employers. You can learn about their business
practices in the skill seminars you take for your curriculum or through
talking to them at one of our dinners. Furthermore we voice your
interests. What practical skills would you value most to learn? How do
you want to get to know our corporate partners? We welcome all your
ideas and suggestions for creating a more valuable CEMS experience for
you.
Corporate partners
CEMS
students are selected among thousands of students in Europe and beyond.
Let us help you get in touch with the best and brightest of the new
generations of employees in the field of international business. By
connecting you create awareness for your company among our students.
Furthermore, through active participation in our events you get in
direct touch with the top of the student body at internationally
renowned business schools. Finally, and certainly not in the last place,
you help shape the employee of the future by actively teaching the
students of today the practical skills they will need to excel at their
future jobs in your company.
Alumnus
As
a former CEMS student you know all about the importance of getting
connected to the right people. Make sure you stay in touch after your
graduation through joining one of our alumni events. Furthermore, now
that you are graduated and entered the business world, you could provide
current students with valuable insights on what lays in wait for them
after they finish their studies. Help them build their own network and
be part of it! Join one of our alumni initiatives to mingle with former
and current students and stay part of the community you helped to build.
