Humanitarian Committee
CEMS is about more than studying alone, it is
also about using our international network not only for own benefits but also
to make a difference in the world.
The CEMS Humanitarian Committee aims to raise
funds for and create awareness of important humanitarian issues, through the
organization of several fun events, and awareness increasing activities.
The Committee consists of:
- Noé Chevalier (President)
- Chantal Humm
- Rebecca Kersch
This year the CEMS Community supports the “Schools for Africa
project””, a joint initiative of UNICEF the Nelson Mandela Foundation and the
Hamburg Society for the Promotion of Democracy and International Law. The
project aims to increase awareness for and the quality of education for
children in Africa. CEMS supports schools in Rwanda and Mozambique
specifically.
This semester the Humanitarian Committee
Rotterdam has organized a Urban Jungle party, and
a successful CEMS Sports Day.
Education is a foundation for the long-term
development of society and more children in this world should have access to
quality education. Education is a right for all!
Sincerely,
Noé
