Social Committee
As CEMS students, a semester at
Rotterdam School of Management is a demanding and, at times, time consuming
undertaking. It is important for the students to find the right balance between
studies and free time to make the stay at Rotterdam a successful and also fun
experience. Being a community of students that share a global and open mindset,
from different countries and cultural backgrounds, spending quality time
together is not only pleasant, but also helps us raising our cultural awareness
and promoting our cultural mindset, critical tools for our futures.

We, the CEMS Club Rotterdam Social
Committee, want to make sure that the CEMS students spending their semester at
RSM are provided with a fun and exciting offer of social and cultural events to
spend some quality time together while also getting to know the city of
Rotterdam better. We try to organize a good variety of events, reaching from
parties to short trips to dinners and social drinks, to make sure we can
provide every CEMS student activities that fit their interests and making this
semester a time for all of us that we are always happy to look back to.
Our main task as the Social
Committee is to come up with worthwhile events, by scanning the cultural
calendar or by brainstorming and discussions, taking care of planning them and
communicating them to the students. With events of different complexity planning
times vary from as short as a day to well over a month, so a good coordination
is necessary to ensure
We hope that we succeed in providing
the students, spending a part of their CEMS experience in Rotterdam, with a
diverse set of activities and can help that the semester is something that we
will always remember.
