The CEMS Club Rotterdam

Is a non-profit organization that is established to achieve the following goals: 

• Promotion of humanitarian and environmental causes and active contribution toward the prosperous, environmental friendly society.
• Creation of awareness and promotion of the CEMS-MIM program among all relevant stakeholders.
• Provision of high quality experience for CEMS students and nurturing, facilitation of the relationships between the CEMS students. 

The members of the organization should aim at sharing and fostering the following values among the CEMS students:

The Board consists of a president, vice president, president of the social committee, president of the humanitarian committee, president of external relations, and the treasurer.

The Election Process
The appointment of the successors of the board is done on the semi-annual basis and is based on the evaluation of the applications that are sent in to the board. All open positions are announced to the CEMS students present at RSM, Erasmus University, for the semester in question. This includes students with RSM registered as their home as well as host university. The board shall collect and evaluate the application on basis of merit and provide the applicants with answer in a reasonable amount of time. Additionally personal interviews with all candidates will be conducted. The selection of the new board will take place at least one month before commencement of the semester. In addition every board is required to update CEMS club guide that will be passed on to the new board in order to facilitate knowledge transfer. Finally, the board is required to facilitate the transition and support the new board if urgent assistance is required.

Members of the social, humanitarian, and external relations committees other than their presidents are pre-selected by the committee presidents and subsequently reviewed and approved by the president.  Applicants may apply for more than one position if they have more than one preference.
